Also, Little Iodine's graffiti. Little Iodine was a popular comic that ran from 1943 to 1983. She was a little troublemaker character, similar to Dennis the Menace who'd come around later.

She even had a live action movie, which is now lost media.

To keep Swea'Pea safe, they shaved the Spong and he became Swea'Pea's pet...

... who was never ever seen again.

And, yes, I altered the design to make him a little less phallic. (3/3)

Spongs imprint upon someone and accidentally murder them by smothering them in their thick fur. While this spong initially imprinted on Popeye, it soon decided Swea'Pea was its owner and almost smothered him (2/3)
