Over time, in the comics, Daisy's nieces have, in fact, gotten redesigns to make them more distinct, and even been given blonde hair (Daisy herself was a blonde briefly at the end of Carl Barks' comics run in the late 60s)
Fine. One more. Webby was a creation of the 1980s Ducktales, but her design was DIRECTLY lifted from Daisy's nieces - April, May, and June.

And #unofficialpopeye strip! Meant to upload this yesterday but yesterday was NOT a great day.
New #unofficialpopeye comic! I wasn't kidding that I had a bunch of these saved up.
To celebrate the birthday of Bela Zaboly, the third cartoonist to draw Thimble Theater/@PopeyeTweetsk , here's a comic I did for @ComicsKingdom's Popeye Cartoon Club they nixed last year, featuring Popeye's Aunt Jones & Mom (originally designed by Zaboly).
Aww yeah, @librarianstebbs bought a goblinized family portrait of all three of us from @lartist
Canonically, in the comics, Popeye's in his 40s - so he's likely tail-end Gen X. I have decided in my head canon he had a goth phase in high school.
