This is not a great take for a multitude of reasons:
1. Fan art is not “illegal” (however you can get sued for it — even if you don’t sell it).
2. It’s not theft (however you can still get sued for it)
3. A drawing of any popular character will get 5x the traffic as an OC…
Ok, so I got an advance copy of this new Star Trek: Defiant book and it is *AMAZING.*
@IDWPublishing is just knocking this Trek stuff outta the park.
It comes out 3/15 and final order cutoffs are 2/6, so go ask for it!
Since all my current/new stuff isn't shareable, here's some older-ish artwork I did for a pitch that never really got off the ground.
I still really dig these drawings tho…
