4. Many years later, I’m still here. I’m grateful for all the work I’ve been able to do and the clients who continue to hire me! It’s not always the easiest path to have chosen, but it’s one that I love.
3. As a fresh grad, I worked a pt job while taking on as many editorial illustration jobs as I could to try and build a career for myself. 2.5 years later, I decided to take the leap into full-time illustration! It was terrifying and yet so exciting to finally make that decision.
2. After 7 years living abroad, I moved back to the US to pursue illustration at the Pratt Institute. I grew so much as an artist and as a person and drew endless inspiration from the people and city around me.
Last week I reworked my presentation for guest lectures and added a new segment talking about my artistic journey so far. While drawing these illustrated Christinas, I couldn’t help but think back on these different stages of my life that have brought me to where I am today✨
