This is the King of Zlovania, King Mallum Zlo XXV. King Zlo is the one who sends Battede on his quest to find the elusive "Clone Berry" of Mt Loopemus. He's the last living member of the Zlo Dynasty, the long-standing rulers of Zlovania for hundreds of years.

When you reach the end of a level, you will pass by a little whiteboard. Depending on who you play as, a different drawing will be shown!
