RIP Gerson Tavares! Thank you for Amor e Desamor (1966), the masterpiece Antes, o Verão (1969), and numerous wonderful short films.
Tavares’s work has recently received new acclaim thanks to the efforts of Brazilian film preservationists to restore his filmography.
