I don't know how well-known Shamanic Princess is, but in my case I found it completely by accident. It's one of those OVAs that felt like it was trying to be a franchise but didn't follow through.

Still liked it, though. The main protag Tiara is even dubbed by Mokuba's VA. 😛

@duane_moody @RainbowSquidInk I remember his book Manga Mania was gifted to me as a kid. The art in that one actually wasn't bad, or at least not nearly as bad as the mutants in his other books.
