Haven’t read the FFXV book, but I’ll hazard a guess that Luna has a bad leg due to the Starscourge corrupting her body and she has to have support magitek.
Tabby’s also working on a Paralympics video game rn so I won’t put it past him to put Luna in prosthetics.
