i really like the niche genre of "movies with the dumbest premise you have ever heard, but are somehow executed so well that it is genuinely really good"
I will never forgive society for letting MirrorMask (2005 film) bomb in the box office. We got a goth clown adventure movie, in a surrealist environment, with some of the coolest character and prop designs, done by the Jim Henson company, written by Neil Gaiman, and it flopped.
