Scout is Not a Band Kid

Lee Lai https://t.co/8xSVP3UOqv she is such an amazing storyteller that captures such nuance and emotion, maybe just humanity, in her comics. I like work that makes me feel like I've been stabbed cos that's when you know it's good.
Adrian Piper, I saw her show at the Hammer musuem hosted by a drag king which seemed to make the experience even more special. There are some pieces of her work, a lot of her use of text, that I try to pull into my printmaking.
Kaya Joan! They are such a warm person, their sketchbooks are beautiful and their collage pieces are always so bright and wonderful. I love seeing everything new they create and I'm glad I got to work w. them :") https://t.co/t1bavPf9Q5
Ronald Wimberly! I am always trying to make people read Prince of Cats. I think seeing Ronald's work just solidfied that black people can (and are, always have been) making comics. I met him at TCAF and I was so embawassing
Kaori Yuki my shouju idol, the fashions! the fashion. I don't remember plot of anything, which is probably for the best.
R.L Stine (probably his ghostwriters) Was Fear Street good? Not at all. Did I read a LOT of it? Absolutely, didn't leave the VV without one. Not to mention watching Goosebumps at like 8PM. It 100 percent shaped me into being a weirdo
