@untitledjimi @clowcountry This character from a wonderful show called Craig of The Creek is deaf! They use sign language to communicate, and he has his friend Keun Sup translate if the person he's communicating with doesn't understand

@kaiserien @Crim_Lust994 @PhantomThorns While it wasn't the right way to go for the person to "fix" the art (didn't even make her black they made her orange anyways), she is whitewashed.

It looks like everything was colorpicked BUT the skin, which you'll see here.

Also, Nessa being on the beach (also another piece I've seen) and having a heavily lightened skin-tone is not how real dark skin works.

@Crim_Lust994 @PhantomThorns I don't know about you but I'd be irritated if someone drew a character who has a dark skin tone, a much lighter one.

Also, a little example of how things went down (I will add though, there are people who DID attack the artist(s). But, most were just trying to calmly explain.)
