The 3rd and final design we ended up keeping for Foxy. we began testing out the approach we wanted to go with in regards to the style of the character and animation. A big inspiration for the style was Disney’s The Lion Guard and Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure.
The second design we ended up going with for Foxy. Added an apron since she makes the clothes in her shop, giving her that seamstress vibe.
Early concept for Foxy, the main character in the animated short Foxy’s Style! Originally the director created the character with short hair, so I thought adding the ponytail helped make her look much younger and more approachable #conceptart #artistsontwitter
