Inside Job pt 2 is out! Some process from a fav design assignment: the demon animatronics. we threw a ton of spaghetti at the wall to find the right Bosch-y, "Catholic" flavor. I still like a lot of what was left on the cutting room floor 👹. (some rough concepts -> finals)

@sleeprealms (misc easter egg: once i drew this red guy riffing on the goatfolk in your parade piece (🖤 that piece), +2 critters to match the vibe. then went "i like this but to be Postable i need to lose the ripoff char & make these 2 a little more Mine." & that became this spread 🤷)

@sleeprealms hmm i know i've drawn yr pinned ones, these, & a bunch of the mapcrunches before trying to emulate w/ mapcrunch myself. i recall telling a bud something like "if i could simplify & distill bg shapes & textures in the economic way wren does, i think it'd really unlock bgs for me!"
