Believe in yourself, do not hunt after the shiny "Achievements" of others and let them not be your guide. Being successful will always take time, especially if you want it to be lasting.

@Reinhard_Schmid started with the scan of a drawing he had made on glass some time ago and put the parts he wanted to keep, on their own layers.
