Hinges vol. 1 by Meredith McClaren is pretty great, though. It sets up a weird, interesting little world, without leaning on heavy exposition. McClaren's art is gorgeous, and does most of the storytelling, as it's pretty dialogue-lite.

Boy, the second volume of Nathan Edmondson's Punisher sure did lean heavy into ultra right-wing shit.
I think this is the only Punisher I've read where the writer wants you to think Frank's cool, instead of broken, which feels like a fundamental misreading of the character.
