Nagai's follow up to that article and first published work in North America Oni Epic Illustrated #18 1983. Trying to imagine reading this when it was new is kinda brain breaking for all sorts of reasons 1/3

5. Election & Election 2, Johnnie To 2005/2006 These films are both massive epics and kitchen sink crimes films all the same time

2. Be Invoked, Takizawa / Tomino 1982 people know what this show and movie influenced but not enough of them have seen it, runs circles around everything that has been influenced by it.
