These issues make it really apparent that Claremont absolutely loves writing Wolverine and they have me pretty excited for the iconic solo series

UXM #162, holy fuck that was amazing. Claremont managed to make the reader (me) feel the same sense of panic and desperation that Logan was experiencing. The action was awesome and it handles really well one of my favorite aspects of the comic medium, internal monologues

The constant back and forth between Logan referring to himself as an animal and reminding himself that hes human instead really adds to the character in times of intense stress

This issue is “reed richards gushes about how amazing his wife is and how hes nothing compared to her” and I love that

Issue 48 is about to be AWESOME. UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME!
