ryan north, the guy who wrote the first 35 issues of the AT comic, was good friends with andrew hussie, the writer of homestuck and SBAHJ. so yes, this is a homestuck reference.

11 years of adventure time, 11 years of these characters changing. Finn and Peebles go through probably the most complex changes of... any cartoon characters ever, and their dynamic - while never unfamiliar - subtly evolves over time as well.
