We would have other name changes, primarily the main Hero in DQ lore, known in Japan as Loto, was changed to Erdrick in the US. (Erdrick sounded /cooler/)
Apparently at one point Enix reverted some of these changes, but once they merged with Square- (5/10)

So I've been really liking Dragon Quest XI! The game is wonderful. The art is great (designs by Akira Toriyama and great quality models) the music is wonderful (even better with the orchestral tracks in the Switch ver.) and the characters are so interesting! (1/10)
