Serious question: are Galra ears more like cats or bats?

Low-flying Galra HC. You know how we have fluffy space cats & reptilian Galra? What if it's because the fluffy ones lived originally on the underside of the plant cap (& thus got less sunlight & had to evolve alternative means of staying warm) while the others lived top-side?
