A recent sticker commission for the @stnorbert English Department. I based the design on the cool-as-heck stone owls that can be spotted at the top of the Pennings Activity Center. Assuming they're as old as the building, they'll be 100 years old in 2023!

(I’m admittedly using the term “sketch” somewhat loosely—these got an extra round of polish plus a splash of color to help the decision-making process go more swiftly with so many people involved.) (2/3)
Here’s a little look behind the ornament scenes—all the preliminary sketches! I wanted to give each business 2–3 options to choose from for their final ornament, and since there were 18 participating establishments, that meant a *lot* of sketching. (1/3)
Didn’t draw anywhere near as much Space Badger as I’d hoped to this year, especially considering it was the 10th anniversary of the first time I drew the little guy, but at least there’s always next year. Grateful at least for that.
Saying so long to 2021 with a backwards glance to 2011… back when the future seemed a somewhat more hopeful place.
