It's finally spring time! I'm ready for the clocks to go forward and spend time with the feathered folk!
So it was tough to choose, but my second duck will be the Smew! These are the quick designs, the female version of the duck will be on the other side. You can take these keyrings out if you struggle with identifications! #ducks @BirdWatchingMag
Thinking of some ducks (I would make all the ducks if I could) but is there any in particular that people would want? Any other water/wading birds?
The hooded Crow is my favourite species. Although pretty rare in England, they can be seen in the UK in Scotland and Ireland. This Crow is my art mascot! #hoodedcrow #crow #crowartist
I spend a lot of time studying the subjects I draw in order to draw them at their best. I don't like to guess details, but prefer to draw and build up the memories to be able to re-draw them from life.
Drawing gestures of Crows. They are such a pleasure to draw with their expressive body language. #crows #crowartist
A few quick sketches of some garden birds! Robin, Coal tit, blue tit.
