Thoroughly enjoyed @Bad_Hand_Books THE HIDEOUS BOOK OF HIDDEN HORRORS. So many great stories by some fantastic contemporary writers. Wonderfully edited by Doug Murano @muranofiction - highly recommend!
Really loved @RonSmithbooks HOODOO. A fantastic middle grade book that evokes a time and place and people incredibly well - spooky, sinister, surprising - beautifully written. Just a delight.
Very sorry to hear of the passing of Kevin O'Neill, the brilliant artist behind one of my favorite comic books "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" RIP
Really enjoyed TAAQTUMI a horror anthology by Northern writers. Some absolute nail-biting gems, and a fascinating glimpse into life in the Arctic. Well done @Inhabit_Media !! 👍👍
RIP Ken Kelly - his covers for CREEPY & EERIE were a spine-chiiling joy, but I especially loved these wraparounds for Berkley's line of Robert E. Howard books.
Loved Gemma Amor's @manylittlewords DEAR LAURA, a rare mix of page-turning tension and intimate insight - with horrific psychological trauma contrasted by beautiful flourishes of prose. 👍👍
Was in my early 20s, a poser intellectual with copies of Camus, Dostoevsky, Sartre, scattered on the futon. Goth girlfriend made me read this. Head blown. Life changed. Thank you, Anne Rice. #RIPAnneRice
@HorrorCarnival One of my favorite slow burn horror films. Thanks for bringing attention to this unsettling classic.
