day 21. This brought me such delight to draw! I kinda had to improvise the wings (you might even say I had to... WING IT? hur hur) because I didn’t have a reference at an accurate angle. But it’s Inktober so fine is fine enough!

days 17-21: Something significant happened while I was this. I found myself *grinning.* I suddenly realized after years of frustration & self-defeat that I was finally growing in my the way I’d wanted to for so long. ❤️

Inktober 16: I had a lot of fun making this! I was going for a misty/ghostly feel in the way the paint fades. It could have used more gradual transition across the face, but otherwise, how do you think the effect came out?

This originally had much smoother (and more boring) gradation, so I decided to plop some water droplets on it and play with the ensuing shapes. 🙃
