The Filí were a highly respected class of individuals in ancient Ireland. Before the time of the Brehon, Filí were poets, story tellers, lawyers, counselors and magicians. Even after duties were divided the Filí were as respected as the kings and lords, as philosophers and poets.

The fáinne Chladaigh (Claddagh Ring) represents love (heart), loyalty (crown) and friendship (hands... paws in my case.) The placement of the ring holds great meaning for each individual. Mine is a bracelet facing away from my heart. I'm open to all experiences except love.
