To end this long @GestaltGame #art direction thread,
have some more pics.
The artstyle improved throughout #gamedev and the quality level & style of all elements changed since prototyping.

We are working hard towards release, but our development so far has been very rewarding.

So @GestaltGame is a videogame, once the obvious inspiration is out of the way, there are other references.

Especially how JRPGs heavily influenced the direction definitely needs to get pointed out.
