Basic coloring was done in @clipstudiopaint , with initial blocking using a basic digital round brush, and final rendering with a textured paintbrush.

For finish I brought it into @Procreate and dumped textures on it along with their FX tools.

Chinese Animation directly inspired the neighboring Japanese industry, which would go on to eclipse it as China’s industry struggled with the cultural revolution.

I’m excited to see it slowly coming back with a new generation of filmmakers.
