Why am I drawing wolf girls at 1:42 in the morning.

@codybootz It's the Halo Wars 2 Banished Honor Guard! I love their look. They really feel like a more brute-al (haha, get it?) version of the Elites.

Gotta draw them again sometime soon.

Grunts I cheat the most of. I just make them very cartoon baby-like, because they always felt comical and helpless to me, regardless of how their canon appearances are.

You get stubby bodies, big heads, and ridiculous cute eyes, and I'm committed to that. Protect the grunts!

Elites I don't draw as much, but I tend to think of shark/snake features, with a bit of cat personality mixed in when imagining movement.

IMO Brutes look way cooler when you remember to mix in some bear features with the gorilla.

I love the way Cartoon Saloon uses tangents. A great example of how you can break "rules" if you have intention behind it.
