Meiko loves to write letters and often does write to a childhood friend who’s currently living abroad whom she’s very close to. This friend is living in Europe to realize their dream of becoming a translator, and updates Meiko frequently about how it’s going.

While talking to the Producer, Meiko explained how much she loves travelling and loves the excitement and thrills that can only be experienced in one place. She loves to experience new things and foods she doesn't know and wants to see many landscapes around the world.

Her and fellow Nagano idol Shin are also very close, being the same age. Their two playful personalities led to them hitting it off right away. The two of them enjoy teasing one another and playfully arguing from time to time, but they’re very close to one another.

She seems to have a soft spot for the younger idols, struggling to tell Koharu when she’s guessing the location of a prefecture wrong and nearly letting Atsumi fool her because she exploited Marina’s weakness for the younger idols.

She loves surfing and the ocean because every moment is different; the water and the waves are constantly changing and shifting. She strives to live every moment to the fullest and being on the ocean lets her appreciate each special second.
