In RE Revelations 2, they had Raid Mode, a fun points-based mission mode. But how did they keep development costs low while adding a large number of unique areas not found in the campaign?

I was very excited to find an Ikaruga arcade machine when visiting a friend in Manchester. For anyone nearby, I highly recommend the Arcade Club in Bury - great cost and cheap booze.
