@SLBtweetty On straight up classic Sonic the green eyes and big ass buckle don't really work, it works best on modern (but mostly sa1) sonic because it was a new design that kept the influence of classic in a new looser style. Context matters when you wanna add details to something.

@ChillaxinSonic Sonic was based heavily on Mickey and especially Felix the Cat, with some other influences outside of the cartoons we got the lad.
