This evening’s book recommendation: Phoenix Extravagant by Yoon Ha Lee
The title was intriguing, even more so the wonderful story about love and vocation in times of war and occupation.
A few years ago—2004 actually—I made some icons. They were inspired by American McGee’s „Alice”. Yesterday someone asked me whether I still had a backup. And wow, that brings up some memories. They feel a little dated but I still like them.
One of the most impressive books I’ve read this year is probably @tazmuir‘s GIDEON THE NINTH. It is scary. It is weird. Violent, and hilarious,... and it manages one of the cutest Lesbian love stories I’ve read in a while.
