Mitsuru acts like he’s mashing the button to skip dialogue in a game he’s played a thousand times over and acts a ruthless mercenary about getting his wish.

Oh, his hair grew! It didn’t used to fall all the way down past his ears like that.

Trip keeps his hands on his hips & in pockets because trainers resemble their Pokemon and it matches Snivy’s stance.
But I headcanon Shootie/Trip having sensory issues (it goes with keen eyesight & how he complains about Ash’s loud voice), so he’s just more comfortable this way.
