(wip) finally starting proper sprite work on my vn project. the style i ended up with is very different from my initial concepts, but it's more natural for me and i figured that was best since the cast is so large and i'll be drawing a lot of these in the end

mortal kombat deception / armageddon - definitely her most nostalgic look. there's no way this outfit could ever work but i'm still kind of here for it. her tits are fully falling out but she's living and i can't be mad about it. again, we stan the high ponytail. 8/10.

mortal kombat gold - her first time having a costume that's all her own. unfortunately it kind of sucks. the high ponytail is iconic but the outfit is weird and it looks like she's wearing a cowbell. removed her pupils so that we KNOW she's evil. 5/10.

ultimate mortal kombat 3 - definitely an upgrade. is it practical? probably not. but it definitely says "purple ninja lady." was never a fan of the ballerina bun though. 7/10.

mortal kombat 2 - it was 1993 so i can't judge it too harshly. she's a lady. she's a ninja. she's pink (purple?). it was the palette-swap era so it needed to be simple. but it gets the job done. 7/10
