This morning for my next gaming book I'm playing Die Hard on NES and TurboGrafx 16

The TurboGrafx edition (below) is great but bizarre, as McClane fights his way to Nakatomi through forests and swamps, using flamethrowers and grenade launchers to kill terrorists and... cops?

Today for my new gaming history book, I've been playing and writing about Konami's superb 1992 arcade shooter, Bucky O' Hare. It's like a mash up of side-scrolling beat 'em up and run 'n' gun.

Here's your first look at BPM: Beatdowns Per Minute #2, our Streets of Rage tribute comic that follows some martial arts cops fighting a drug syndicate in 1992.

I would legitimately love to write a Kirby / HAL Laboratory gaming history book, similar to Go Straight.

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of the wee gum ball. What a joyous project that would be. Won’t ever happen though.
