There are approximately ONE MILLION Muppet-adjacent Christmas specials but on day seven I’m highlighting 1977’s “Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas”, which is heartwarming.

In 1983 there was a cartoon based on Rubik’s cubes, called “Rubik, the Amazing Cube”. It featured one of the most chilling little goblin creatures I’ve ever seen. Truly terrifying.

Anyway 1 of its 13 episodes was a Christmas one so I’m doing it as day six of my advent calendar.

A Charlie Brown Christmas is not as iconic here in the UK as it is in the US, but it should be! It’s a delight. That’s why I’m honouring the blockhead on day five of my advent calendar.
