Today in the studio... based on a photograph from my walks around the village and beginning with some tree marks made with a rigger. Watercolour on 140lb HP paper. Approx 23x31cms.

In the studio this morning, a winter wetland watercolour study. Approx 23x26cms. I’ve painted this view so many times and it will probably end up in the bin but it’s comforting to be with something familiar in my attempts to get back painting.

Definitely my last acrylic painting for now, I’ve started tinkering. (Snowdonia 20x20cms). Back to watercolour next week.
