Thanks to @aleeshandai for reworking the lighting for these characters, it was much needed.

Of the @MeleeHD renders pack, these are my least favorite by far.
I'd love to see a tweak all of Marth + Peach, but also Pichu's CSS icon to look better.
Instead of using Photoshop, my preference would be a Blender tweak if possible. If anyone does a revamp, please let me know!
For this 2001 Melee promo poster, they did *not* use a render from Melee to represent Donkey Kong.
As you can see from the third image, DK's skin is much more yellow in Melee. They likely drew from some Donkey Kong 64 promo render.

For those wondering, #SmackStudio is a platform-fighting game (in the same vein as Smash Bros.) that comes with built-in character and stage creator software. Since the game utilizes unique tech that allows for sprites to work dynamically on 3D models, animating is super easy!
