LIKE #15: Kyle Lambert. This guy is known for way too many movie and TV posters these days to count, but I know him as the guy who does the "Stranger Things" posters. Seriously, he's done every last one of 'em. His approach is something I truly admire in poster artwork~ ✨
LIKE #14: Yusuke Murata. The "One Punch Man" mangaka has got some incredible artistic skills and I swear some of that flashiness bled into how I look into my art. You be the judge by looking at some of these preview pieces, haha~ ✨
LIKE #13: Yoji Shinkawa. You probably know this guy as THE Kojima artist, but in general, his artwork is super stylish. This guy's one of the reasons I want to learn how to use inks properly in traditional art. Because seriously, LOOK at how his designs just shape themselves~ ✨
LIKE #12: Tetsuya Nomura. Look, you can knock the writing for "KINGDOM HEARTS" all you want, this guy's art and design talents are utterly incredible and again, something that I feel I carry with me as art inspiration. Just without way too many belts and zippers, of course~! ✨
Random thought: @Disney has those "Villainous" board games with Wonder Forge, don't they? They've released five expansions so far alongside the base game.
Okay, hear me out: what good money would I have to pay to see a #TwistedWonderland expansion?
...No. I will not cease. 😂
LIKE #9: Chris Sanders. Look, would it be me if I didn't bring up Mr. Sanders? Seriously, is there any doubt? His work always felt grounded yet stylised to me and of course, without him, the franchise i rep most wouldn't even be a thing, soooooo... speaks levels there~ ✨
LIKE #8: Eizin Suzuki. A little cover Eizin did for an album called "For You" by the wonderful Tatsuro Yamashita clued me into this man's absolutely vibrant and exotic artwork and it's part of the reason my Stitch artwork tries to hit that same summer vibrancy~ ✨
LIKE #7: Yana Toboso. I fell for Toboso's work as far back as "Black Butler", but then that certain obsession "Twisted Wonderland" restarted that love back up for me. Her dark and gothic designs make the ol' D go "eheeee, I wanna draw any eerie things just like that"~ ✨
LIKE #5: Spencer Wan. Look, there's a very high chance you've seen his work recently between "Castlevania" and a certain Grom sequence from "The Owl House", and it's legit INSPIRING. His understanding of what makes an action scene hit hard goes in tandem with Imaishi for me~ ✨
LIKE #4: Shigeto Koyama. There's something about how Koyama approaches design and art that I carry with me with my pieces. Ever since he helped in designing Disney's Baymax, it's been this way. Striking, cutting-edge, these are all words that really come to me off the bat~ ✨
