Also, MI is worth experiencing, even today. It really does have a lot of heart, even if Godai starts out an immature moron and Kyoko has a number of things to work through.

8. Elwin/Liana from Langrisser II/Der Langrisser. The funny thing is, I think a big part of the appeal for me is that there's not necessarily a happy ending in store; tragedy lurks just over the horizon too. Anyone that's played Independent or Chaos can attest to that.

5. Shirou with Saber or Rin or Sakura. I don't care if it's a cop-out, there's no way I can pick a best one. Fate and UBW and Heaven's Feel all did such a good job of making me root for the relationship in each path and they all deserve to be happy at the end of the day 👍

1. Heero/Relena is probably one of the first pairings I actively sought out fanwork for; while I might have liked other ships beforehand, 1XR is what really brought me into the fanfic world.
