Here's a recap of my 32-color palette planning & organizing this weekend. The logic is if you just drop a color palette in it's structured so the color groups Just Work. Pictured: 1) Default colors, 2) Player Outfit colors, 3) Boss Outfit colors, 4) Undead colors. #gamedev
Planning colors for the lads tonight. Seeing how they look with one uniform color palette so they blend together in big crowds in contrast to brighter-colored human enemies, but each hopefully look immediately distinguishable from one another
Taking some time tonight to work out character color palettes for future #gamedev work. Our target is 32 total colors so I'm doing a bit of condensing to fit what I want, making creative use of warm skin tones for wood tones. Default test dummies (L) and swapped palette test (R)

Redrew Monday's three-hit ranged combo from scratch. I wasn't gonna at first but I added pistol twirling to help make it visually easier to tell which of the two pistols is shooting. A few more tune-ups and Monday's new art will be ready for the game engine. #gamedev
