I was very excited to paint a banana plant en plein air. Thanks to a wonderful friend for giving me this opportunity. I will be back soon for a second attempt.

I have been packing for Blowing Rock Plein Air Festival 2022 when Seacoast Artists Gallery informed my Blue Ridge Mountains painting had just sold. This plein air painting which had won an award at SAG Show is now on its way to Massachusetts along with July 24 MyrtleBeach Sunrise

I had just enough time to complete today’s sunrise when it started to rain. I thought I had my painting covered well but to my disappointment the paint had smudged. Too bad I couldn’t get back the unknown colors I had seen this morning.
