To give an idea of the Black chess team's aesthetic, I'm going for something of a sci-fi/gothic look.

When I eventually get back into my visual redesign of the original Metroid, this is how I imagine Samus- more toned than what the Zero Suit design has turned her into.

Also, the 'Justin Bailey' palette is totally staying.
