Mark Molnar's Fremen from his Dune project, and Harkonnen in his chambers. Some more great, vibrant that ideas that I feel this movie is sorely going to suffer from eschewing.

Matt Rhode's (One of my all time favourite artists) and his lineup for the Dune cast. Obviously, a movie couldn't go in quite this direction, but he still manages to invoke interesting design ideas that create unity within factions.

And oh hey he's using colour.

We can do better than this. People have done FAR better at realizing the reverent alien beauty of Dune, keeping ideas loose and abstract without resorting to generic sci-f- shtick.
