also i just realized i should probably post their ref for colors (i never claimed to be smart); just a heads up tho its sorta old and hasnt been updated to include the arm yet (or the ear fluff), the illustration up there is more accurate but these are the right colors

for actual advice, i theme weapons to match/compliment the oc thats supposed to be using them, i think the most successful time i did it was with zaquiel! i made the hilt look like a treble clef bc hes a bard, plus its got the dangly bits like him lol
