Kind of in love with Stephen Cartwright's art in particular lately. Very sweet and almost unmistakably from the late 80s / early 90s. The warm colors, the chunky shapes, the thick confident one-stroke cloth folds, oh man. It's like an illustration equivalent of a cozy blanket.
I suppose I might as well repost a slightly tweaked version of that Somsnosa fanart.
Do you ever realize that the level of detail you've chosen for the piece isn't going to be feasible? But then it feels like you're *almost done* so you might as well power through it? But then the part you "power through" ends up being 80% of the piece? No? Cool. Glad to hear it.

Participating in this feels like cheating, because I don't think I've ever made more than three of anything in the same style. https://t.co/8ps9ZJkeVV
Coming out of the art hibernation, for no valid or justifiable reason. Here's some furry delinquents, simply because that is what my suffocated brain defaults to nowadays.
Forcing yourself to draw with thinner brushes can be a great exercise, but I'm really starting to miss the way my art looked when I was going over everything with a 20-25px wide monstrocity. Felt like there was a lot more weight to it. And, uh… #repostday, I suppose.
Стрим максимального потворствования собственным предпочтениям прошёл успешно. По-моему ещё ни разу не было такого драматичного разброса по пропорциям персонажей. Благодарю @Nl0rd за компанию!
