The Apollo and Rops episodes are all good because I get to look at this little bug baby I love him so much 10/10

This is one of those lines from the anime that I just think about constantly. What did he mean by this.

THE SNAIL IN THE GARDEN SCENE AND THIS ARE BOTH EXTREMELY FUNNY TO ME. IIRC Zatch’s original excuse is that he couldn’t read the message because of the kanji used but but this version is even better just Zatch and his soap operas!!!

SPEAKING OF MARUSS for context the Japanese episodes would play these short eyecatchers during the middle of the episode before it would resume but the dub would remove all of those but because of that, this scene of Maruss getting blasted looks like he’s getting cooked twice

This was another one of those episodes where they cut out so much of the original OST and how important scenes turned out because of that is Not Great BUT the dub did make up for it at points

Few stuff I wanted to note about it too! First, I LOVE that this manga cover got to have a little scene in the anime it’s so cute 😭

In terms of actual episode thoughts I really love revisiting this battle everything that happens in it is really good!! And I just always especially love seeing Kiyo’s moments of growth alot like :)
