BigPEmu version 1.05 is out now! Lots of new features. Jaguar CD emulation has been pretty well conquered, and has graduated from early access. Check the release notes for a full list of changes.
I did the math. Every Jaguar CD game in the retail library is now running nicely in BigPEmu! I still need to tie up a few loose ends (Memory Track support, homebrew compatibility tests), but a CD-enabled Patreon build is probably coming sometime in the next couple of weeks.
The result is that we're able to bulk export every NPC present in the data, and see some of the characters that never made it into the game with textures and animations intact!
This is a Tarzan game for the SNES that was never released. @thatdylanfellow recently got his hands on the game's source code. We don't have the original assembler or built ROM, but we do have some relocatable object binaries, so I've used them to produce a faithful ROM image!
I was recently compelled to start digging into a prototype build of Ninja Gaiden for the Sega Genesis. Adding new features while fixing control issues, collision problems, balance, progression blockers, bugs, etc. There are some interesting implementation quirks!
