@Trey_Explainer I don’t think I’ll ever get over how weird this book was. I question why anyone wanted to publish this
@LittleBaardo Allosaurus seems to have a “flaked” texture on the nasal and lacrimal which would correlate to an extended keratin covering. @AndreyAtuchin did a good reconstruction of the keratin.
@WB_Baskerville This isn’t what science agrees T.rex looked like. This is a very badly made model. If you want to know what scientists think it looked like may have looked like here’s a few examples of well made reconstructions
@daspletoraptor @palaeotaku I think the differences are pretty clear. TBH the rex does look a lot like an actual alberto though, which may lead to confusion
I don’t post my 2D/traditional work often. I’m not very confident with my painting skills so working on improving. This is Lyuba, the famous frozen mammoth calf right before her death, which was by getting stuck in mud and choking. I rarely see this depicted in art strangely.
@FabioAleRomero Literally anything from Man After Man can be considered chaotic evil
People have mentioned how the Sue model on sketchfab has huge problems, and I agree. The ribs are rotated too far forward, gastralia are too low, and the arms look dislocated. This isn't present in the actual Sue mount, so whoever created this model definitely did something wrong
Quick 4 hour Suchomimus sculpt. Sorry about the poor image quality, screenshots and twitter compression doesn't mix well.
