yes, bucky HAD a best friend too! childhood bestfriend if you consider their pre-retcon times wherein they’re both children, either way toro was only one year older than bucky.

they were also both men out of time, both related to each other when no one else understood them

and if you truly have read the fucking comics you’ll know bucky’s true best friend of the same age, toro raymond. but of course no one wants to talk about him and bucky even though they’re like steve and arnie because you dont gain anything from it for your silly mcu ship

honestly just wanted to thank @KyleDHiggins for portraying bucky getting help from a psychiatrist for his mental health AND even having bucky get rj help for his trauma as well. it’s one of my favourite parts in this comic i’ll treasure it forever
